Payment Due
You pay, I bake! Payment is required up front so that I can create your cute cutters, spectacular sprinkles, and perfect packaging. Your payment reserves your pick-up date too! Win win for all of us! A late fee will apply to any late payments. After an invoice is four (4) days past due, your invoice and order may be cancelled due to non-payment. Any deposit/retainer payment made is non-refundable.
No Shows
No show = no treats. These desserts are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed upon pickup time forfeits your order. But take heart - we'll donate to a family in need. Need to reschedule your order? Please reach out 3 days prior to your pickup time.
Refunds
I can offer refunds up to 24 hours after the payment is accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as the supplies order has likely already been placed. But the good news - you get the cookies!
Pickup Dates and Times
Pick up times are set upon ordering. This is because other customers need their fix too! We have bulk pickup dates to accommodate most schedules - so put that pickup appointment in your calendar!
Change Cutoff
Decisions are tough! But we're here to help. Some order changes can be made until 7 days prior to pickup (21 days for weddings). After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.
Inspiration
Thanks for bringing those inspo pictures! They're just that - inspiring. But your treats may not be perfect replicas - we'll try to keep it close.
Covid Care
We know that you can't control when you have come in contact with a person who has Covid, and we want to work with you. Need to reschedule your event? We can freeze your order for 2 weeks so you can stay home and rest.
In a hurry?
While I can't accommodate all last minute orders, I will make my best effort to. Orders placed with a turnaround time of under 10 days will require a rush fee (overtime fee) of $25. The exception to this rule is online non-custom orders (featured cookie sales). If the availability is there, snag it!
Price Adjustments
All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredients costs. I'm always trying to provide the best tasting cookies to my clients. This also means I can't honor old pricing (because the local grocery store won't honor their old flour prices - darn it).
Product Photography
We create replicas of client orders to photograph these pretty sweet lookin' sweets. If your order is a surprise, let me know at the time of order or pickup and I will make sure not to post until after your event. Your secrets are safe with me.
Copycats
Copyrighted images (think Star Wars and Peppa Pig) are protected, and I won't be able to replicate them but we can make a similar color palette - so let's talk!
Pictures Are Worth a Thousand Words
But they're not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you end up with. Also - things in photos may not be true to size! (which is a bummer, I'd frankly love to eat a 12 inch cookie).
With Great Power...
Once you pickup your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your cookies, cocoa bombs, and car doors (I hate door dings) is all on you! Keep 'em safe, keep 'em cool, and keep 'em away from the parking lot cart returns.
Shipping
Without a commercial kitchen, I am not able to ship baked goods (per Texas cottage food law). Because of this, you'll need to be near Spring, Tx for pickup. Hopefully the law will change soon!
No Ghosts (I'm easily spooked)
To get your order juuust right, I'll need you to reply to my messages within 6 hours - otherwise, I may just have to wing it. Questions for me about an order you've placed? I will respond Monday-Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm. I may be covered in flour, so give me a few hours.
Allergies
Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens. While I can do my best to accommodate, I can't always accommodate allergy-conscious orders. Please do reach out - I may have a perfect referral for ya! And please note that my kitchen is not allergy free (my kids love peanut butter).
Cottage Food Laws
Our products are home produced. Our products are made in compliance with Texas’ Cottage Food Rules. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, or gluten free.
In Sickness and in Health
While death will never do us part, you're consuming food and with the consumption of anything (including that bottle of wine last night) there are inherent risks. Choking hazards, food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possibilities - albeit, hopefully far reaching.
Pay Means Yay
Once you've submitted (awesome) payment for your (awesome) order because you're awesome, you're accepting the above terms. Which is awesome because my cakes and other desserts are awesome. Awesome.
